Commercial Attaché of the Austrian Embassy at KAU

Kazakh-American University (KAU) hosted a guest lecture by David Pölzleitner, Commercial Attaché of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. The event was organized jointly with the Astana Diplomatic Club.

During the visit, the guest met with KAU President Assylbek Issakhov. The meeting focused on cooperation between the university and the Austrian business community, as well as the development of partnership relations.

David Pölzleitner then delivered a lecture for KAU students on Promoting Trade between Austria and Central Asia. The speaker talked about the role of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in supporting Austrian companies in Central Asian markets, as well as the prospects for developing trade and economic relations between Austria and the countries of the region. David Pölzleitner shared his practical experience working with Austrian companies and spoke about innovative projects and mechanisms for expanding business contacts.

At the end of the meeting, students asked questions about careers in international trade and business law, as well as opportunities for young professionals within Austrian-Kazakh economic cooperation.
