The KAU Psychological Support Service was established to provide confidential assistance to students facing emotional, personal, or academic challenges.

YOU MAY CONTACT THE PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT SERVICE REGARDING THE FOLLOWING ISSUES:

Family and close environment concerns (relationships with parents, siblings, family conflicts)
Difficulties in communication and interaction with others (interpersonal conflicts, feelings of loneliness, challenges in building relationships)
Problems in romantic and partner relationships
Academic-related difficulties (adaptation to university life, academic stress, procrastination, concerns about academic performance, conflicts within the learning process)
Crisis situations, including suicidal thoughts or intentions
Self-acceptance and self-esteem issues (insecurity, concerns about appearance, abilities, and personal development)
Physical and mental health-related concerns, including psychosomatic conditions and health limitations
Emotional conditions (anxiety, apathy, depressive experiences, fears, irritability, emotional exhaustion)
Emotional states: (anxiety, apathy, depressive symptoms, phobias/fears, irritability, emotional burnout/exhaustion).
Coping with traumatic experiences (various forms of violence, harassment, loss of loved ones, and other difficult life events)

Contacting the service is voluntary and confidential.
