Representative of Yale University at KAU

An official meeting was held between Asylbek Isakhov, President of Kazakh-American University, and Dr. Kasturi Gupta, Director of the South Asian and Central Asian Studies Center at Yale University, USA.

The visit was aimed at establishing scientific and educational ties and developing cooperation between the universities.

During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of collaboration, the implementation of joint research projects, participation of KAU students in the Fox Fellowship and Yale Summer Sessions programs, as well as opportunities for graduates to continue their studies in master’s programs at the American university.

Academic exchange formats were also discussed, including the involvement of visiting professors and scholars from Yale University at KAU.

Developing partnerships with universities and research centers in the United States is one of the strategic priorities of KAU’s international activities.
