Meeting with the British Chamber of Commerce and the British Embassy

KAU President Asylbek Isakhov met with Dinara Abileva, Director of the British Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan, Rasul Alibekuly, Head of the British Trade Office in Almaty, and Larisa Kanafina, Policy and Governance Adviser at the British Embassy in Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation between the university and the British Chamber of Commerce, opportunities to involve business community representatives in the educational process, and formats for joint events that could benefit students.

Among the proposed initiatives was the organization of guest lectures featuring Chamber members and business experts.

Following the meeting, the guests delivered presentations for KAU students, speaking about the activities of the British Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy, as well as their own professional journeys.

During the open dialogue session, students asked questions related to career development, international experience, and challenges faced in professional practice.

The event was organized in cooperation with the Astana Diplomatic Club.
