KAU Won a Prize in Chess at the IEC Spartakiad

The International Educational Corporation hosted the closing ceremony of the Spartakiad among employees and faculty members dedicated to the memory of Amirlan Kusainov.

The sports event was aimed at strengthening corporate spirit, developing teamwork, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Welcoming the participants, Chairman of the IEC Supervisory Board Aigazy Kusainov emphasized the importance of such competitions for team unity and preserving sporting traditions.

Throughout the week, 12 teams representing the corporation’s departments competed in relay races, chess, volleyball, basketball, mini-football, arm wrestling, and table tennis.

The competitions were held in a friendly and energetic atmosphere with active support from fans.

Following the results of the tournaments, winners and prize winners were awarded medals and certificates.

The Kazakh-American University team actively participated in the Spartakiad and achieved an honorable second place in the chess tournament.

The event became a memorable occasion that brought participants many positive emotions and impressions.
