Guest Lecture by a KPMG Expert

Kazakh-American University hosted a guest lecture titled “Stages of Audit: Theory and Practice” with the participation of representatives of KPMG, one of the world’s leading audit and consulting organizations.

The speaker was Rashit Sanchirov, Senior Manager of the Audit Department at KPMG. During the meeting, he provided a detailed overview of the key stages of an audit process — from planning to audit completion and preparation of the audit report.

Special attention was given to the practical aspects of an auditor’s work, quality standards, and financial reporting requirements.

Students had the opportunity to learn about real working processes in the field of audit, understand the specifics of client interaction, and ask questions to a practicing specialist from an international company.

The lecture had a strong practical focus and helped students gain a deeper understanding of the profession and the requirements of the modern labor market.
