Students watched the film “Huliganka”
A screening of the short film “Huliganka” was held at Kazakh-American University. The event, attended by specialists and representatives of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, aimed to enhance legal awareness and social responsibility among students.
The film “Huliganka” tells the story of a teenager who finds herself in a difficult life situation and commits a crime. The film clearly demonstrates how aggression, peer pressure, and the desire for self-assertion can lead to destructive behavior, while also emphasizing the importance of timely support from close ones.
Following the screening, KAU students discussed the key issues raised in the film. The invited guests explained how teenagers may become involved in unlawful activities and highlighted the importance of legal literacy among young people. Participants noted that such discussions help not only to understand the consequences of impulsive actions but also to develop a more responsible attitude toward one’s behavior.
University psychologist Gulzhanar Kalauova emphasized that aggression is often rooted in internal struggles and stress, which can be overcome. She encouraged students to seek support from the psychological counseling service when needed and to take care of their mental well-being.
