Meeting with Representatives of the U.S. Consulate General
Kazakh-American University (KAU) hosted a meeting with representatives of the U.S. Consulate General. The meeting was attended by Public Affairs Specialist Deja Holmes and Public Diplomacy Officer Zhanna Toktarova.
KAU President Asylbek Isakhov emphasized the importance of strengthening ties with the diplomatic corps, while the American side expressed readiness to develop joint educational and scientific initiatives.
During the talks, the parties discussed internship opportunities at American companies for KAU students, the possibility of creating a “Pop-up American Corner” platform at the university, and cooperation with alumni of U.S. government educational programs.
Special attention was given to projects focused on media literacy, critical thinking, and the launch of career mentoring programs for students.
Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their interest in expanding cooperation aimed at developing educational and career opportunities for the KAU academic community.
