Meeting with an International Relations Expert

A meeting with Aram Navasardian, an international relations specialist, diplomat, and etiquette researcher, was held at KAU. The event was organized with the support of the Diplomatic Club “Astana.”

The lecture focused on the history of diplomacy, with particular attention to the differences between diplomatic and consular services. The speaker explained their respective functions, outlined their key responsibilities, and described how they interact with foreign states and citizens abroad. Practical examples were provided to illustrate the discussion.

During the session, participants actively engaged in the dialogue, explored diplomatic terminology, and examined the specifics of professional activity in the field of international relations. This format not only deepened theoretical knowledge but also helped form a more comprehensive understanding of real professional practice.

It is worth noting that this was not Aram Navasardian’s first lecture for KAU students. His previous talks addressed the fundamentals of official etiquette, rules of conduct at protocol events, and the importance of details in professional appearance.
