Meeting with a Representative of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation

Kazakh-American University hosted a meeting with Sofya Vlasova, Head of Protocol and Attache of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Almaty. The event was held in partnership with the Diplomatic Club “Astana.”

Before the lecture, the guest met with the Vice President of KAU and the Director of the Department of Scientific and Innovative Activities. During the meeting, the parties discussed possible cooperation and joint educational initiatives.

For students, Sofya Olegovna delivered a guest lecture on diplomatic protocol and etiquette. She explained how official meetings are prepared, why protocol is important, and what rules apply in business communication.

At the end of the lecture, students asked questions about the work of diplomats and took a group photo with the guest.
