Lecture on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations

Kazakh-American University hosted a lecture by KAU Professor Nurlan Begaliyev, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences. The event was organized jointly with the Diplomatic Club “Astana.”

The professor explained to students how diplomatic relations are established between states and why this process is important for international cooperation. He noted that official relations between countries are built on mutual recognition, trust, and readiness for dialogue.

During the lecture, historical and cultural factors influencing the development of relations between states were also discussed. The speaker shared his experience of working at the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and international organizations.

At the end, students discussed with Nurlan Begaliyev the role of diplomacy in the modern world, the importance of official recognition between countries, and the influence of culture on international relations.
