KAU Visits East China University of Science and Technology

Representatives of Kazakh-American University visited East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST), one of Shanghai’s leading research universities. Founded in 1952, ECUST is among the world-class universities supported by the Chinese government and is widely regarded as one of the country’s strongest research centres in chemistry, engineering, and advanced technologies.

During a working meeting with representatives of ECUST’s Department of International Relations and Business School, the parties discussed student mobility programmes, joint courses in international economics, and prospects for scientific cooperation. The negotiations resulted in the identification of specific areas for collaboration and shared academic interests between the two universities.

The development of the partnership with ECUST creates meaningful opportunities for KAU students to participate in academic exchange programmes, while enabling faculty members to engage in joint research projects with colleagues from one of China’s leading scientific centres.
