KAU Presented a Report on the Use of AI in the Uranium Industry

The XII International Scientific and Practical Conference Development of the Uranium and Rare Metals Industry, organized by NAC Kazatomprom JSC, was held in Almaty at the Kazakhstan-British Technical University.

The event brought together around 1,000 leading scientists, researchers, representatives of industry companies, and experts from 34 countries. Participants discussed key areas of development in the nuclear industry, including uranium mining and processing technologies, geology and geotechnologies, rare and rare-earth metal resources, digitalization of production processes, robotics, industrial safety, and sustainable development.

Kazakh-American University was represented by Kalilallo Markisovich Baitasov, Managing Director for Digitalization at KAU, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Academician of the International Academy of Informatization, and Honored Worker of the Atomic Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He delivered a report titled The Use of Information Technologies and Artificial Intelligence to Improve the Efficiency and Safety of Production Processes in the Uranium Industry.
