KAU Dean Appointed to the Public Council of Kazakh Tourism

Akbota Nurgaliyeva, Dean of Kazakh-American University, has been appointed to the Public Council of JSC “National Company Kazakh Tourism” as an expert participating in the work of its committees.

The corresponding decision was made following a council meeting held in April of this year in Astana. After reviewing the candidates and conducting interviews, her candidacy received majority support.

Akbota Nurgaliyeva has extensive experience in higher education and academic management. Her professional activity is focused on the development of educational programs and the implementation of modern management practices. Previously, she worked at leading universities in Kazakhstan, holding a number of senior administrative positions, and since December 2025 she has been serving as Dean at KAU.

Her inclusion in the Public Council reflects a high level of professional competence and recognition by the industry.
