KAU at AITK Fest 2026: Technology for Everyone

AITK Fest 2026, a youth festival dedicated to artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and tech entrepreneurship, was held in Almaty. The event featured a hackathon for school students, a Startup Battle, and meetings with representatives of the IT industry. A total of 50 winners were selected following the competition program.

A particularly meaningful part of the festival was the participation of children from Almaty’s Support Center No. 2 for Children in Need of Special Social Services. Assylbek Issakhov, President of Kazakh-American University, and Aruzhan Nussipova, founder of AG Vision KZ, personally met and spoke with the children. Their conversation focused on education, career choices, and opportunities to receive grants at KAU.

Assylbek Issakhov expressed his readiness to support the students in their pursuit of education. Aruzhan Nussipova proposed an initiative to provide them with free training in AI-powered programming through the AI Talents Kazakhstan platform.

Meetings like this demonstrate that technology-driven platforms can become spaces of equal opportunity, where every school student, regardless of their circumstances, has the chance to discover their own path and build a better future.
