KAU and Defense Global Kazakhstan Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
Kazakh-American University (KAU) and Defense Global Kazakhstan LLP (DGK) have signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at advancing joint educational, research, and international projects. The document was signed by KAU President Assylbek Issakhov and Defense Global Kazakhstan Director Lee Jae-wook.
DGK is a long-term platform company that brings together technology development, local assembly and manufacturing, government projects, education, and digital services within an integrated model designed for expansion across Kazakhstan, Central Asia, and beyond.
The memorandum provides for expert-led lectures and masterclasses, conferences, seminars, and research internships, as well as the development of dual-degree programs, online learning, and academic exchange initiatives.
Particular attention will be given to strengthening cooperation with universities in the Republic of Korea and the United States. Prospective initiatives include activities focused on Korean language and culture, as well as technology tours to Korea featuring visits to major organizations working in artificial intelligence, intelligent energy systems, unmanned technologies, automotive engineering, and aerospace research.
The signing of the memorandum marks another important step in strengthening KAU’s international partnerships and expanding educational, research, and professional opportunities for students, faculty members, and early-career researchers.
