KAU and Bank CenterCredit Expand Cooperation in Education and Career Development
President of Kazakh-American University (KAU) Assylbek Issakhov and Director of the Almaty Regional Branch of Bank CenterCredit JSC Bekdauyl Iptildayev signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The agreement aims to promote practice-oriented education and integrate the professional expertise of the financial sector more closely into the academic process. The organization’s experts will contribute to the work of KAU’s specialized advisory boards, deliver guest lectures and masterclasses, and participate in the assessment of students’ course and graduation projects. This will allow students to explore real industry cases and gain a better understanding of the current demands of the financial market.
The partnership will place particular emphasis on the professional development and employment of students and graduates. The parties plan to expand internship and practical training programs and organize job fairs, Career Days, and other events involving Bank specialists. The cooperation also includes academic competitions, contests, chess tournaments, and educational projects for school and university students. Key priorities include improving financial literacy, developing entrepreneurial skills among young people, and supporting students from socially vulnerable groups.
On the day the Memorandum was signed, Bank CenterCredit donated 72 copies of “Elen-Alan”, a book by renowned Kazakh writer and statesman Abish Kekilbayev, to the KAU library. The publications will be used for academic, cultural, and educational purposes. The new partnership will strengthen cooperation between the University and the financial sector, broaden opportunities for students to gain practical experience, and help future professionals acquire in-demand knowledge and their first professional experience while still studying.
