Guest Lecture by a Speaker from the Diplomatic Club
Kazakh-American University (KAU) hosted an open lecture by Gulistan Khamzayeva, Chairperson of the Association of Wives of Kazakh Diplomats, writer, and linguist. The event was organized within the framework of cooperation with the Astana Diplomatic Club.
During the meeting, KAU President Asylbek Isakhov thanked the guest for her visit and emphasized the importance of such lectures in developing students’ communication skills.
In turn, the speaker from the Diplomatic Club expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and interest in cooperating with the university on joint educational initiatives.
During the lecture held in English, Gulistan Khamzayeva shared her experience and knowledge of effective public speaking and communication techniques.
She introduced students to the “rule of three” principle as one of the key tools of persuasive speech. Special attention was given to the use of structure, rhythm, and repetition in public speaking, as well as her personal professional experience.
The meeting was held in an interactive and engaging atmosphere, allowing students to ask questions and receive detailed answers and practical recommendations.
