Guest Lecture at the Iranian Cultural Center

A guest lecture for students of Kazakh-American University (KAU) was held at the Iranian Cultural Center. The lecture was dedicated to cultural heritage, the historical ties between Kazakhstan and Iran, as well as the preservation of cultural values.

The students were addressed by Suna Ahmadi, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Agazade Hossein, Head of the Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty and Cultural Attache at the Consulate General.

The speakers discussed the significance of manuscript heritage and its role in the shared historical and cultural space. Special attention was given to Persian manuscripts preserved in Central Asia, as well as to the protection of cultural heritage, international ethics, and the preservation of UNESCO sites.

At the end of the event, students asked questions and took part in the discussion. The lecture was organized jointly with the Diplomatic Club “Astana.”
