Astana Hub and KAU Shape the Direction of Cooperation

Cooperation in science and education, as well as the implementation of joint projects, became the main topic of the meeting in Astana between KAU President Asylbek Isakhov and Magzhan Madiev, CEO of the International Technopark of IT Startups Astana Hub.

During the meeting, the KAU President presented the university’s key development areas, emphasizing that the university is consistently building an ecosystem that develops entrepreneurial thinking among students and provides opportunities to implement their own ideas and projects.

The Student Innovation Office being established at KAU will become a hub for promising initiatives and solutions, including those related to IT and AI technologies. In this context, collaboration with Astana Hub opens broad opportunities for involving its residents in training specialists for the digital economy.

Magzhan Madiev introduced the achievements and future plans of Astana Hub and proposed piloting the “Startup Academy” project at KAU.

The parties also discussed involving representatives of leading IT companies in lectures, workshops, internships, and practical training opportunities for students and faculty members.

As a result of the meeting, both sides agreed to organize joint events, involve KAU students as volunteers in Astana Hub activities, and develop new educational programs in IT and AI in cooperation with Astana Hub and its residents.
