Meeting with the Consul General of Germany

Representatives of Kazakh-American University (KAU), led by Vice President Dauren Dyussebayev, met with the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Almaty, Mr. Matthias Kiesler.

Welcoming the guests, the Consul General emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Germany in the fields of science, education, and cultural and humanitarian initiatives.

Vice President Dauren Dyussebayev noted that cooperation with German universities is one of the key priorities of KAU’s international activities. He invited Matthias Kiesler to visit the university and deliver a lecture for students. The parties agreed that the meeting would take place in February of this year.

During the meeting, the participants discussed prospects for cooperation between KAU and German universities. They also exchanged views on teaching the German language, student participation in cultural and humanitarian initiatives of the Consulate General, and internship opportunities in German companies operating in Kazakhstan.

At the end of the meeting, the Consul General thanked the KAU representatives for their visit, congratulated them on the New Year 2026, and wished the university continued success.
