STUDENT LIFE
The Department of Youth Policy and Social Development at KAU supports students’ extracurricular activities by creating conditions for their personal, social, and professional growth.
The department’s activities are aimed at building an active and responsible student community, developing leadership skills, civic engagement, and students’ involvement in university life.
STUDENT CLUBS
With the support of the department, KAU hosts student organizations, clubs, and creative communities that allow students to explore their interests, develop skills, and implement their own initiatives.
KAU Media
A student organization responsible for media coverage of university events. The club develops skills in photography, videography, editing, SMM, and digital content creation.
Nomad House
A platform for developing entrepreneurial thinking and startup initiatives.
Speaking Club
An English-speaking student club focused on communication skills and language practice. Meetings help students expand vocabulary and improve confidence in speaking.
KAU Band
A musical student association bringing together vocalists and musicians. Members perform at university and city events while developing creativity and stage experience.
KAU Times
A student media platform covering university events. Club members develop journalism, hosting, and news production skills.

KAU Taugashyk
A club promoting an active lifestyle and environmental awareness. Members organize hiking trips and outdoor activities in mountainous areas, developing endurance and team spirit.
Book Club
A student reading club that promotes reading culture, analytical thinking, and discussion skills through literary discussions and themed meetings.
Debate Club Veritas
A student platform for developing critical thinking, argumentation, and public speaking skills. The club organizes debates and training sessions to strengthen analytical and communication abilities.
KAU Cheerleading
A cheerleading team supporting university sports events. The club develops students’ physical fitness, coordination, and stage culture.

Development of Student Self-Government
Selection for student organizations, Student Government elections, and regular meetings between the University President, students, and the Student Government.
