KAU and ECUST Expand International Academic Cooperation
Kazakh-American University (KAU) continues to strengthen its international academic cooperation. East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) has become the University’s new partner following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening educational and research ties between the two institutions.
In July of this year, ECUST representatives welcomed a KAU delegation to Shanghai, where the two universities held their first discussions on developing the partnership.
The Memorandum was signed by Professor Assylbek Issakhov, President of KAU, and Dr. Gong Yue, Vice President of ECUST. The document outlines the key areas of future cooperation between the two universities.
The institutions plan to develop academic mobility opportunities for students and faculty, organize joint seminars, workshops and academic meetings, and implement educational, cultural and research initiatives. The Memorandum also provides opportunities for joint funding applications and the establishment of research centers.
The signing of the Memorandum lays the foundation for expanding KAU’s cooperation with Chinese universities, creating new international educational opportunities, and implementing joint projects in education and research.
