KAU President’s Visit to Harvard University

President of Kazakh-American University Assylbek Issakhov visited the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies, one of Harvard University’s leading research centers specializing in the study of Russia, Central Asia, and the broader Eurasian region.

During the meeting with the Center’s Deputy Director Cris Martin and Anara Abdybekova, the parties discussed KAU’s potential as an academic partner and prospects for launching joint research initiatives. Special attention was given to opportunities for cooperation in research areas relevant to the Central Asian region.

Founded in 1948, the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies is one of the oldest and most respected research centers in the field of Eurasian studies. The Center brings together scholars, students, and experts engaged in the study of the region’s history, politics, culture, and society at the highest academic level.

The KAU President’s visit to Harvard confirms the University’s consistent commitment to developing partnerships with leading global research institutions and expanding its international scientific presence.
