KAU Student Wins National Competition

Arailym Uzakbay, a first-year student of the Journalism program at Kazakh-American University, has been named the winner of the national talent competition “Best Student.”

The large-scale project was organized by the Bilim Innovation Center and the Academy of Best Students. The competition aims to support young leaders who demonstrate outstanding achievements in science, education, sports, and the arts.

As part of the competition, Arailym presented a portfolio of her achievements from grades 9–11 and her first year at university, and wrote an essay titled “The Future of Independent Kazakhstan Lies in the Hands of Educated Youth.”

According to the results, she was awarded a first-degree diploma, a “Best Student” badge and certificate, as well as a personalized statuette. The organizers also sent a letter of appreciation to the KAU administration for their contribution to the development of young talents.
