Competition for the AYFN JAPAN Summer Culture Camp 2026 Cultural Trip to Japan

Attention KAU students!

Applications are now open for the AYFN JAPAN Summer Culture Camp 2026 — an annual summer program in Osaka organized by the ASEAN Youth Friendship Network (AYFN).

The program is open to students of all nationalities and academic majors. The cultural exchange program will take place from July 19 to July 24, 2026.

The program aims to introduce participants to Japanese culture and language while building international connections among young people from around the world.

Scholarship types:

🥇 Gold
• full program fee coverage
• airfare grant up to USD 750

🥈 Silver
• full program fee coverage
• airfare grant up to USD 250

Program includes:
• 6-day cultural immersion in Japan
• Japanese language courses
• visits to Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara
• walking tours of Kyoto’s historical sites
• cultural excursions in Japan

Eligibility criteria:
• age between 17–35
• active participation in youth and social activities
• leadership qualities
• strong English communication skills
• availability to travel to Japan during program dates

Required documents:

• motivation letter
• essay
• self-introduction video
• proof of registration fee payment

All documents must be submitted in English.
