Opening of the Spartakiad Dedicated to the Memory of Amirlan Kusainov

On January 12, the opening ceremony of the Spartakiad dedicated to the memory of Amirlan Kusainov — Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor, academician, and Honored Builder of Kazakhstan — took place.

A welcoming speech was delivered by Akmaral Amirlanovna, while the wife of Amirlan Kusainov attended the event as an honored guest.

The competition brought together 12 teams from the International Educational Corporation, including faculty members, engineers, builders, administrators, and managers.

The first stage of the Spartakiad began with an exciting relay race. Participants will also compete in volleyball, chess, futsal, basketball, and arm wrestling.

Special recognition goes to the KAU TEAM, which is participating in all sports disciplines, demonstrating strong team spirit and athletic excellence.

The Spartakiad in memory of Amirlan Kusainov became not only a sporting event but also an important initiative uniting the corporation’s employees in the spirit of cooperation, respect, and remembrance of an outstanding scientist and mentor.
