A Guest Lecture on “Media and Information Literacy — A Challenge of the 21st Century” Was Held at KAU

On November 13, Kazakh-American University hosted a guest lecture by Madzher Masanov, National Program Officer for Communication and Information at the UNESCO Regional Office in Almaty.

The topic of the lecture was “Media and Information Literacy — A Challenge of the 21st Century.”

Madzher Masanov is a graduate of Paris IV Sorbonne University, holding bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history. Since 2020, he has been working within the UNESCO system.

The lecture gave students and faculty the opportunity to explore key trends in the modern information society and emphasized the importance of media and information literacy in the 21st century.
