Required documents for admission

A standard set of documents is required for enrollment to Kazakh American University:

Identity card or passport, original and copy
Original document of general or secondary education, certificate or diploma
6 photos sized 3x4 cm
Health passport or vaccination card form 063
UNT certificate with threshold scores
Copy of military registration certificate, for male applicants
Copy of the child’s birth certificate if the educational services agreement is signed by one of the parents on behalf of a child under 18
Medical certificate form 075-U with a fluorography image

It is also necessary to scan all the above-mentioned documents to speed up the application submission process

Admission after College

After college, the admission process is as follows:

First, you need to choose the program you plan to apply for
If the chosen program matches or is related to the specialization you completed in college, you may apply by passing an internal exam, essay, or interview. The duration of study is 3 or 4 years depending on the program. Internal exams are held from June 20 to August 25
If you plan to change your profile or specialization, you will need to apply as a school graduate by taking the five-subject UNT. The duration of study is 4 years
College graduates can also apply by taking the shortened two-subject UNT. More detailed information is available at testcenter.kz
After passing the internal exams, documents are submitted offline from June 20 to August 25 at 28 Ryskulbekov Street, Almaty

For international applicants, the university admission process is as follows:

Online interview with the Admission Department from June 20 to August 25
Collection of required documents
Offline submission of documents to the Admission Committee at 28 Ryskulbekov Street, Almaty

Original document of general or secondary education, certificate or diploma
International passport and its copy with a notarized translation into Kazakh, the state language, and/or Russian
6 photos sized 3x4 cm
Medical certificate form 075-U with a fluorography image
Document stating the applicant has no criminal record

Admission for High School Graduates

For high school graduates, the admission process is as follows:

Selection of profile subjects and taking the UNT through testcenter.kz, while achieving the required threshold scores: at least 50 points in total and at least 5 points in each subject, except Mathematical Literacy and Reading Literacy, where the minimum is 3 points. For Law, the threshold score is 75 points
Offline submission of documents from June 20 to August 25 at 28 Ryskulbekov Street, Almaty
Conclusion and signing of the education agreement
Tuition fee payment
Enrollment and start of studies

Transfer of Students from Other Universities

It is necessary to send the transcript with completed courses to the Admission Committee to calculate the course difference and assess the possibility of transfer
Any academic or financial debts must be cleared at the time of transfer
Submission of original documents to the university and payment of tuition
Start of studies

Main Transfer Rules

The course difference must not exceed 25 credits
No academic or financial debts
Transfers are carried out during the vacation period: in winter, in January; in summer, in July and August
