KAU Expands Professional Opportunities for Students

Kazakh-American University and the Department of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document is aimed at advancing practice-oriented education and expanding professional opportunities for KAU students. The memorandum was signed by KAU President Assylbek Issakhov and Head of the Department Darkhan Issayev.

Under the agreement, the parties plan to cooperate in specialist training, the organization of internships and practical placements, guest lectures and practical classes, as well as in supporting the employment of graduates. Particular attention will be given to business analytics, finance, audit and tax consulting, information technology, international business, law, journalism, and international relations.

Specialists from the Department of the Bureau of National Statistics will participate in guest lectures, workshops, round-table discussions, and career fairs. This cooperation will enable KAU students to gain practical experience in a professional environment and develop competencies that are in demand in the labour market.

The signing of the memorandum marks an important step in strengthening KAU’s cooperation with government institutions and reflects the University’s consistent commitment to developing educational programmes in close connection with the real sector of the economy.
