Closing Ceremony of the International Summer School
On June 26, Kazakh-American University held the official closing ceremony of the International Summer School “Diplomacy of the Future: International Relations in the Digital Era.” A week filled with insightful lectures, cultural immersion, and dynamic academic exchange came to an end.
The summer school brought together 22 international students from universities in China, Greece, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Russia, the United States, and Uzbekistan. Throughout the week, participants explored key topics of modern diplomacy, including digital governance, international relations, and intercultural dialogue, through lectures, master classes, expert discussions, and practical sessions with representatives of international organizations and the diplomatic corps.
Before the official part of the ceremony, participants attended the final lectures, which served as a meaningful conclusion to a week of intensive academic work. The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of certificates, followed by closing remarks from Asylbek Issakhov, President of Kazakh-American University, and Madi Aldabergenov, Head of International Projects and Innovation at the International Educational Corporation.
The program does not end here: participants still have two days ahead, including an introduction to the sights of Almaty and a one-day tour along the route “Almaty – Lake Issyk – Turgen.”
The International Summer School was more than just an educational event. It was a week that opened new professional horizons and laid the foundation for long-term international connections. KAU extends its sincere gratitude to the Astana Diplomatic Club, all participants, partners, and experts who made this week truly special.
