KAU and Boston University: Toward Academic Partnership
As part of his working visit to the United States, President of Kazakh-American University Assylbek Issakhov met with representatives of Boston University, one of the country’s most influential research institutions.
Boston University is one of the largest private universities in the United States and is consistently ranked among the world’s best universities by leading international rankings. Founded in the 19th century, the university brings together students from dozens of countries and has one of the strongest research bases in North America. Among its alumni and faculty are Nobel laureates, and the university itself is widely regarded as one of the symbols of the American academic tradition.
During the meeting, negotiations were held with George Kolios, Roberta Micallef, and Margaret Bolter. The parties discussed specific areas of cooperation and opportunities for launching joint academic initiatives.
Dialogue between universities at the leadership level is the foundation on which meaningful international cooperation is built. KAU continues to expand its global academic network, and the meeting with the Boston University team became another important step in this direction.
