Nobel Laureate Holds a Master Class at KAU

A master class by Konstantin Novoselov, Nobel Prize laureate in Physics and one of the renowned scientists of our time, was held at Kazakh-American University.

During the meeting, Professor Novoselov spoke about graphene — a material whose discovery became an important milestone for modern research and technology. Participants learned how scientific ideas move from laboratory developments to practical application and why fundamental research remains the foundation of technological progress.

Special attention was given to the role of innovation, new materials, and research thinking in the future. The discussion was held in an open format: participants asked questions and discussed current research areas and opportunities for young scientists.
