KAU and CITY College Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

A delegation from Kazakh-American University, led by KAU President Assylbek Issakhov, visited CITY College in Thessaloniki, Greece. CITY College is the official European campus of the British University of York and one of the region’s respected educational centers.

The key outcome of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. On behalf of the international partner, the document was signed by Ioannis Ververidis, Vice President of CITY College.

The parties discussed the launch of joint educational initiatives, academic mobility for students and faculty, participation in international research projects, as well as the possibility of implementing an Executive MBA program in Kazakhstan with a double degree from the University of York and the University of Strasbourg.

The signing of the Memorandum marks a new stage of partnership aimed at expanding access to high-quality global education and strengthening the integration of Kazakhstan’s higher education system into the international academic community.
