KAU Students Visited the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange

A guest lecture was organized for students of Kazakh-American University at the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).

The speaker of the session was Karina Kim, Manager of Educational Projects at the KASE Academy. During the lecture, she provided a detailed overview of how the stock market in Kazakhstan operates, its key instruments, and the career opportunities available for young professionals.

The event had a strong practical focus, allowing participants to gain up-to-date knowledge directly from an industry representative and to better understand the specifics of the financial market.

As part of the visit, students also attended the presentation of the book “KZ Listed” by Ramon Pedrosa. The publication is dedicated to the development of Kazakhstan’s securities market and includes real case studies of companies that have gone public. At the end of the event, each participant received a copy of the book as a gift.

Such events contribute to strengthening the connection between the university and the professional community, while helping students better navigate the current demands of the labor market.
