KAU Students Took Part in a Meeting with Chinghiz Aitmatov’s Granddaughter

On February 4, 2025, students of groups PD-25-4 and PD-25-3 took part in a creative meeting with Chinara Aitmatova, the granddaughter of the outstanding writer Chinghiz Aitmatov.

During the meeting, several thematic sessions dedicated to the writer’s personality and legacy were presented.

Participants learned exclusive family memories during the presentation “Chinghiz Aitmatov: Man and Universe,” discussed the concept and future revival of the legendary Issyk-Kul Forum as an international intellectual platform, and heard an analytical perspective on the current state and future of Kyrgyz literature within the topic “The Voice of the Mountains Today.”

The event allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of Chinghiz Aitmatov’s cultural and humanitarian legacy, as well as current trends in literature and public thought in Central Asia.
