Visit of the Ambassador of Malaysia to KAU
A meeting was held at Kazakh-American University between KAU President Assylbek Issakhov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mohd Adli Abdullah.
A campus tour was organized for the guests, during which they were introduced to the university’s main academic facilities and infrastructure.
During the discussions, the Ambassador noted the strong potential for cooperation, emphasizing the importance of developing partnerships with Kazakhstani universities, as well as highlighting Almaty’s attractiveness as a center for international academic exchange. He also expressed readiness to facilitate the establishment of contacts between KAU and leading universities in Malaysia.
KAU presented a number of initiatives aimed at launching student mobility, enhancing collaboration between faculty members, and implementing joint educational programs and research in areas such as digital economy, sustainable development, and smart cities.
Following the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to further develop cooperation focused on expanding opportunities for students to participate in international internships, study abroad programs, and joint projects, as well as strengthening international partnerships.
