KAU and Jiangsu Normal University Kewen College Sign Cooperation Memorandum

On September 22, 2026, Kazakh-American University (KAU) welcomed a delegation from Jiangsu Normal University Kewen College of the People’s Republic of China. The meeting concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and an Academic Mobility Agreement aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two institutions.

The documents were signed by KAU President Asylbek Issakhov and Ms. Liu Xiaolian, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jiangsu Normal University Kewen College.

The agreements provide a framework for developing academic mobility for students and faculty members, implementing joint educational and research initiatives, promoting cooperation in scientific research, and sharing teaching experience.

Particular attention was given to expanding international opportunities for students. The Academic Mobility Agreement establishes a foundation for students from both universities to participate in exchange programs and gain valuable academic and intercultural experience in Kazakhstan and China.

During the meeting, representatives of KAU and Jiangsu Normal University Kewen College also discussed promising areas for further cooperation and opportunities to implement joint projects. Both sides expressed their interest in consistently developing the partnership and strengthening academic ties between the two universities.

The signing of the agreements marks another important step in KAU’s efforts to expand international cooperation and create new opportunities for students and faculty. The university continues to develop a network of international partnerships focused on academic exchange, joint educational initiatives, and integration into the global higher education community.
